Bill Baumgartner - Bass, Vocals
It all started in the
summer of 1964, Grandma B. took me to see the Beatles “A Hard Day’s
Night” at the Century Theater, then we went across the street to
W.T Grants and she bought me the soundtrack, I was hooked on music!
Later that week some
friends and I formed the “BRBB” Badmitten Racket Beatles band!
My actual music
career started in 1972 when I purchased my first bass.
Played with ”Threshold”
and ”Broadside” thru the late 70’s, then took some time off
from music to play organized sports, Hockey, basketball and fast
pitch softball.
Returned to the
music scene in the early 90’s and joined the Night Club band
“Afterdark”. Joined the Blues Rock band “Mark Stanley Band”
Late 90’s
And joined “New York 2
L.A.” and “Rock Bottom” in the 2000’s.
I enjoy: Almost
all kinds of music and sports, bringing my wife and daughter to my
gigs, taking my daughter and her friends to concerts, meeting and
talking to fellow musicians, and making people smile!
Credo: “Too
Young For Woodstock 1”, “Too Old for Woodstock 2”, but “Never
too old to Rock and Roll”!!!
